Engineering, fabrication and erection of structural steel frames, pipe racks and truss systems for industrial buildings. The steel is detailed, cut, welded and finished in our own workshop and erected on site by our own crews, so one team carries the package from shop drawing to handover. Work is priced as a full package or as any part of it — design only, supply only, or erection of steel someone else has fabricated.
Conventional structural steel is the right choice where the geometry is irregular, the point loads are heavy, or the frame carries equipment and services — the cases a repeated pre-engineered bay cannot serve. The completed record on this site includes a 64-metre clear-span sports hall and a 60-metre clear-span hangar, plant structures and pipe racks at a chemical plant, factory extensions tied into working production buildings, a ground-plus-mezzanine store, a combined showroom and workshop, and architectural steel exposed on a retail promenade and at a hotel entrance.
Every package follows the same five stages. The scope is confirmed in writing before quoting. Shop drawings, method statement, inspection and test plan and risk assessment go to the consultant for approval against QCS 2014. Cutting, fitting, welding and surface protection happen in the workshop, inspected against the approved plan. Transport and erection are sequenced around the main contractor's programme. Snagging, as-built documentation and the certificates the consultant needs then close the package.
Construction, installation and erection of structural steel buildings, industrial facilities and miscellaneous steel work are named in the scope of Masas's ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates.
